Indonesia's Jakarta Composite Index is expected to open lower on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, after falling in four straight sessions and shedding more than 250 points, or 3.6 percent, during that stretch. The JCI sits just above the 6,120-point level. The index closed Tuesday at 6,121.70, down 26.16 points, or 0.43 percent, after trading between 6,013.08 and 6,150.55. Financial, agricultural and cement shares led the declines. Wall Street's weak lead and a flat-to-lower forecast for Asian markets weighed on sentiment ahead of key U.S. inflation data. The Dow fell 0.26 percent to 51,359.92, the NASDAQ slipped 0.09 percent to 26,797.54, and the S&P 500 lost 0.17 percent to 7,670.84. West Texas Intermediate crude for November delivery dropped $2.90, or 3.1 percent, to $89.70 a barrel. Treasury yields rose, and U.S. consumer confidence deteriorated unexpectedly in September.
