Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling will close its Ventura, California, plant on July 10, 2026, ending more than a century of production at the site and affecting 85 employees, according to a state WARN filing submitted May 08, 2026. The company said 78 workers will be reassigned to other facilities, while remaining employees may apply for open roles at other Coca-Cola plants. Operations from Ventura will be shifted to other Southern California sites. The closure follows other California shutdowns by Coca-Cola bottling operations, including an American Canyon plant in late December that affected at least 45 workers and a Salinas location closed in June. Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, formed in 2022 after Reyes Holdings began distributing Coca-Cola products in 2015, operates 50 facilities across 10 states, including 22 manufacturing centers in California.
