Levi Strauss & Co. named John Vandemore as chief financial officer, effective Nov. 1, 2026, replacing longtime CFO Harmit Singh, who will remain as an adviser until Nov. 30. Vandemore spent nine years as Skechers' CFO, during which revenue grew from $4 billion in 2017 to $10 billion last year. Analysts called the hire a strong fit. Both companies are global lifestyle brands with roughly 10% EBIT margins, about half of revenue from the Americas, and a similar channel mix of 55% wholesale and 45% direct-to-consumer, according to Needham. Vandemore joins as Levi's pushes to expand DTC sales, which rose 11% in the most recent quarter but may face US and European headwinds.
