Cheniere Signs 22-Year LNG Supply Deal With Petrobras for 0.8 MTPA

Cheniere Energy Inc. (LNG) said its marketing unit signed a 22-year sale and purchase agreement with Brazil's Petrobras for about 0.8 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas, announced Sept. 29, 2026. The deal is structured on a free-on-board basis. CEO Jack Fusco said it adds fixed-fee cash flow visibility to support further liquefaction capacity growth and provides Petrobras with secure supply into the second half of the century. Cheniere shares fell 1.08 percent to $266.75 in pre-market trading on the NYSE after closing the prior session up 0.41 percent.
