Trump Family, Associates Expand Business Ventures Across Caucasus and Central Asia

Projects tied to President Donald Trump's family and associates are expanding across the Caucasus and Central Asia, spanning luxury real estate, critical minerals and a new trade corridor, Bloomberg reported on September 22, 2026. The ventures include Trump Tower Tbilisi, a 280-meter tower and centerpiece of a $2 billion development in Georgia; a tungsten mine deal in Kazakhstan; and the TRIPP trade corridor linking Armenia and Azerbaijan. US-based Cove Capital Group agreed to purchase a majority stake in Kazakhstan's largest undeveloped tungsten deposit. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are set to gain an interest through Skyline Builders Group Holding Ltd. The push coincides with Washington's efforts to counter Russian, Chinese and EU influence in the region. Analyst Olesya Vartanyan said the engagement is "much more commercially and investment-driven" than prior administrations. The White House denied any conflicts of interest.
