MAIA Biotechnology Hits 65-Patient Enrollment Target in Phase 3 NSCLC Trial

MAIA Biotechnology Inc. (MAIA) said on Sept. 22, 2026, that it reached its target enrollment of 65 patients in the Phase 3 THIO-104 trial of Ateganosine as a third-line therapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company said the milestone completes enrollment for the late-stage study, which evaluates the drug in patients with advanced disease after prior treatments. MAIA did not disclose a timeline for topline data or additional trial details in the announcement. Ateganosine is the company's lead candidate for NSCLC.
