Fulton Market Penthouse Under Contract at $8.5M, Would Set Neighborhood Record if Completed
A penthouse at One Fulton Bond, 224 North Elizabeth Street, has gone under contract at an $8.5 million asking price, which would set a record for Chicago's Fulton Market if the sale closes. The unit, which spans the 23rd and 24th floors, will not be completed in 2026, according to the development timeline. The condo, listed off market, features four bedrooms and a 1,100-square-foot terrace. It is one of two units brokers believe could reset area pricing. The current Fulton Market condo record stands at $8 million, paid for a unit at the One Chicago tower at 14 West Superior Street in River North. Over the past five years, only 15 Chicago condos have sold for $8.5 million or more. The project is being built by Sulo Development. Fulton Market has attracted office commitments from firms including McDonald's, and Greystar recently sold an area apartment complex to RPM Living for $99 million.
