Silicon Valley Luxury Home Sales Surge as Los Altos Mansion Fetches $17.5M

A 11-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion at 10718 Mora Drive in Los Altos sold for $17.5 million, or $1,971 per square foot, after listing at $17 million on Aug. 18, 2026. The 8,900-square-foot property went into contract within three days, signaling renewed momentum in Silicon Valley's ultra-luxury segment. The sale marks a turnaround for the home, which was built in 2016 and previously endured price cuts, bankruptcy and two foreclosures. An investor acquired it for $12.8 million in 2024. The Agency's Kiersten Ligeti and Patricia Karoubi held the listing. Other eight-figure closings followed: a Hillsborough estate at 600 Eucalyptus Avenue traded for $18.8 million on Sept. 15, and a Saratoga home at 22525 Rolling Hills Road sold for $17.3 million the same day. In Los Altos, 26541 Purissima Road sold for $9.3 million on Friday, above its $9.25 million ask, while 1219 Portland Avenue fetched $8.1 million on Sept. 14.
