McDonald's Tests Global Favorites Menu at Chicago HQ Through Mid-November

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) is offering a rotating Global Favorites menu at its Chicago headquarters restaurant, 1035 W. Randolph St., for a limited time through mid-November. The public-facing location features items unavailable at standard outlets, including Australian Onion Rings, Canada's Bacon Hot Honey McCrispy, South Korea's Salted Caramel Oreo McFlurry and Dipped Cone, and Chile's Dulce de Leche McPops. The exclusive lineup, refreshed roughly every few months, drew favorable customer response on social media. It arrives as McDonald's builds momentum behind its U.S. business under the "McDonald's > NEXT" growth strategy, focused on menu innovation, new restaurant designs and operational efficiency. The chain has leaned on limited-time offerings in 2026, including Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Mighty Hot Sauce nationwide from September 1 and the Big Arch burger. U.S. same-store sales growth slowed to 0.8% in the second quarter from 2.5% a year earlier, following a 3.9% first-quarter gain.
