MongoDB Swings to Fiscal Q1 Profit on 25% Revenue Jump; Shares Rise Late

MongoDB Inc. (MDB) reversed a year-ago loss with a fiscal first-quarter profit on May 28, 2026, as revenue surged 25% on strong cloud database demand. Shares climbed 8% in after-hours trading. The company posted net income of $58.2 million, or $0.74 per share, compared with a loss of $29.4 million, or $0.41 per share, a year earlier. Revenue rose to $459.4 million from $367.5 million, beating the $445 million analyst consensus. Subscription revenue, its largest segment, grew 26% to $441 million. MongoDB raised its full-year revenue guidance to $1.95 billion–$1.97 billion, above the $1.93 billion average estimate, citing expanding enterprise adoption of its Atlas platform.
