ARK Invest Buys $34.3M of Meta, Trims CrowdStrike and Bitcoin ETF

ARK Invest bought 51,477 shares of Meta Platforms (META) across its ARKK, ARKW and ARKF ETFs on September 21, 2026, a purchase worth about $34.27 million and one of the firm's largest adds of the day. The move followed an 11% surge in Meta shares after its new personal AI assistant app, Muse, topped Apple's U.S. free download chart. Muse handles email, trip bookings and online shopping, fueling expectations for Meta's consumer AI push. ARK sold 28,403 CrowdStrike (CRWD) shares through ARKW and ARKF for roughly $6.75 million, even as the stock rose nearly 5%. It also added about $4.92 million of Airbnb via ARKW. In biotech, ARKG bought Ionis Pharmaceuticals (about $4.45M), Veracyte ($2.98M), Beam Therapeutics ($2.56M) and Scribe Therapeutics ($2.04M). ARK exited Pure Storage, 10x Genomics and Twist Bioscience, and sold a small Bitcoin ETF stake.
