Meta Platforms (META) jumped 11.43% on Monday, September 21, 2026, adding $192 billion in market value — its largest single-day gain in over a year — after its AI assistant Muse climbed to the top of Apple's App Store rankings. The rally lifted all six other Magnificent Seven stocks, with an ETF tracking the group hitting a record high for the first time since May. Muse, a free AI assistant launched September 8, 2026, performs multi-step tasks such as retrieving data across accounts, filling out web forms, and completing online purchases. A paid tier is offered for heavy users. Truist analyst Youssef Squali called Muse Meta's most important consumer product in years and "the clearest attempt yet to build non-advertising revenue." The AI optimism extended to chipmakers: Intel (INTC) rose 12%, while AMD (AMD) gained 10%, pushing its market cap above $1 trillion for the first time. Bitcoin touched roughly $86,000, a January high, with Strategy (MSTR) up 9.5%.
