Modine Manufacturing Q4 Profit Jumps on Strong Vehicle Thermal Demand
Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: MOD) reported a sharp increase in fiscal fourth-quarter net income on May 26, 2026, buoyed by robust demand for its vehicle thermal management systems. Net income rose to $78.4 million, or $1.47 per diluted share, from $52.1 million, or $0.98 per share, a year earlier. Revenue advanced 14% to $712.3 million, surpassing analyst estimates of $695 million, according to LSEG data. The company cited higher sales in its Climate Solutions and Performance Technologies segments, particularly for data center cooling and electric vehicle components. Gross margin expanded 180 basis points to 22.4%, reflecting improved pricing and cost efficiencies. Backlog increased 8% sequentially to $1.6 billion. “Our focus on high-growth end markets delivered record fourth-quarter results,” said Chief Executive Officer Neil Brinker in a statement. Modine shares have risen 23% year-to-date.
