Satellos Completes Enrollment in Phase 2 BASECAMP Trial of Forazapadin for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Satellos Bioscience (MSLE) said on September 30, 2026 that it completed enrollment in BASECAMP, a Phase 2 trial of forazapadin in ambulatory boys aged 7 to 10 with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The study enrolled participants across 18 sites in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Belgium, Spain, Poland and Serbia, randomizing them 1:1:1 to forazapadin 60 mg, 120 mg or placebo. The trial comprises a 12-week placebo-controlled period followed by a 36-week active-treatment period. Primary endpoints are safety, tolerability and muscle force measured by dynamometry. Satellos said it exceeded its enrollment target in under nine months and expects topline data in the first quarter of 2027. The company is also testing forazapadin in the Phase 2 TRAILHEAD study in adults with DMD and plans a Phase 2 trial in adults with FSHD in the fourth quarter of 2026. Satellos shares closed September 30 at CAD 12.20, down 2.09%, within a 52-week range of CAD 7.56 to CAD 18.98.
