In an unprecedented move, HBM rivals Micron Technology (MU), Samsung, and SK Hynix joined as strategic infrastructure partners, signaling a new phase of supply-chain integration. The investment secures Anthropic priority access to high-bandwidth memory, where a 20-50% global supply deficit is expected through 2028. SK Hynix holds about 50% market share, Samsung 28%, and Micron 22%.
