Nebius (NBIS) Signs 12-Year, 50 MW AI Data Center Deal with AIB, Shares Rise 2.9%

Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS) said Wednesday it signed a binding agreement with AIB Data Centers Inc. for 50 megawatts of IT capacity at an AIB facility in the southeastern United States. NBIS shares rose 2.91% to $244.26 on the Nasdaq. AIB expects customer prepayments under the 12-year contract, plus project debt and preferred equity, to fund much of the initial development costs and reduce the need for corporate equity. The site is backed by a 15-year electric service agreement for 65 MW. The deal follows AIB's Texas acquisition, which lifted total contracted power capacity to about 120 MW. The company said it is pursuing additional long-term agreements with AI and high-performance computing customers.
