Norsk Hydro Expects €28 Million Compensation From Wind Park Sale

Norsk Hydro ASA (NHYDY.PK) said Monday it expects to receive 28 million euros ($33 million) in compensation tied to the sale of a wind park, a transaction scheduled to close in mid-October 2026. The Norwegian aluminum producer disclosed the expected payout without specifying the buyer, the wind park's location or capacity, or the total value of the sale. The compensation adds to Hydro's cash position as the company continues to reshape its energy portfolio. The deal is due to be completed on Oct. 15, 2026, according to the announcement.
