Aerospace Stocks Post Strong Q1, Textron (TXT) and Rocket Lab (RKLB) Beat Estimates

Aerospace companies reported robust first-quarter earnings, with aggregate revenues surpassing analyst consensus by 1.9%, according to data released May 29, 2026. Textron (NYSE:TXT) posted revenue of $3.70 billion, up 11.8% year-over-year and 6.1% above estimates, while Rocket Lab (NASDAQ:RKLB) saw sales surge 63.5% to $200.3 million, beating by 4.9%. Textron shares rose 2.5% to $91.99 since the report, and Rocket Lab surged 87.2% to $147.10. Rocket Lab’s EBITDA guidance exceeded expectations, contributing to the strongest revenue growth among peers. In contrast, AerSale (NASDAQ:ASLE) posted a revenue miss of 18.9%, with shares down 9.6% to $6.63. ATI (NYSE:ATI) reported flat revenue of $1.15 billion, missing by 3%, but its stock still climbed 17%. AAR (NYSE:AIR) beat on both revenue and operating income, pushing shares up 6.6%. The 15-company aerospace group saw next-quarter revenue guidance fall 0.7% below estimates, but sector stocks have averaged a 21.5% gain since reporting, defying broader geopolitical concerns.
