Anduril Raises $5 Billion, Doubles Valuation to $61 Billion

Anduril raised $5 billion in a Series H funding round at a $61 billion valuation, the defense technology company announced May 13, 2026. The round was led by returning investors Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz and more than doubled Anduril’s $30.5 billion valuation from its prior $2.5 billion raise. CEO Brian Schimpf said Anduril’s revenue doubled in 2025 to $2.2 billion. The nine-year-old company has now raised more than $11 billion in total investor capital. The financing comes as defense technology startups attract larger venture rounds. Shield AI raised $1.5 billion in March 2026 at a $12.7 billion valuation, while Hermeus raised $350 million in April 2026 at a valuation above $1 billion. European defense startup Helsing is reportedly nearing a $1.2 billion round at about an $18 billion valuation. Anduril has recently announced contracts with the Dutch Ministry of Defense and the U.S. Army, and is part of a U.S. missile defense project.
