Anduril raises $5 billion, doubling valuation to $61 billion
Anduril Industries said on May 13, 2026, it raised $5 billion in a funding round that doubled the U.S. defense technology startup’s valuation to $61 billion. The round was led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. Reuters reported in March 2026 that Anduril was seeking to raise about $4 billion from the two venture capital firms. Anduril said revenue more than doubled over the past year to $2.2 billion in 2025, while its workforce nearly doubled. The company was valued at $30.5 billion in a June 2025 funding round. Investor demand for defense technology has increased amid the U.S.-Iran war, while abundant private capital has allowed startups to raise larger rounds and delay public listings.
