Buffett charity dinner with Stephen Curry sells for $9 million; Berkshire’s chairman adds matching donations
A bidder agreed to pay $9,000,100 for a private dinner with Warren Buffett, Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry, with Buffett set to match the winning amount to two charities, lifting total donations to about $27 million. The weeklong eBay auction ended May 14, 2026. The winner, whose identity was not disclosed, may bring as many as seven guests to the June 24, 2026, dinner in Omaha, Nebraska, home of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK.B). Proceeds will be split between the Glide Foundation and Eat. Learn. Play. Buffett’s prior 21 auctions for Glide from 2000 through 2022 raised about $53.2 million. The 2022 auction’s $19 million winning bid remains eBay’s largest charity auction result. Forbes estimates Buffett’s net worth at about $143.5 billion.
