Corridor Raises $25M Seed Led by Bain Capital Ventures for AI Health Benefits Brokerage
Corridor, an AI-powered health benefits brokerage targeting small and midsize businesses, said Monday it raised a $25 million seed round led by Bain Capital Ventures. BoxGroup and executives from OpenAI, Scale AI and Ramp also participated. The startup pairs human advisors with AI agents that handle administrative tasks such as verifying physician network coverage, scheduling care and updating insurers on patient information. CEO Nikhil Aggarwal said Corridor serves as a "concierge" for employers and staff on healthcare matters. Corridor was founded by Jackson Wagner, a former Scale AI product lead, alongside ex-Scale colleague Eric Qian, Aggarwal and Jason Dong. Traditional brokerages often overlook small accounts because they generate lower commissions despite comparable time demands. Aggarwal said the company is preparing for the fourth quarter, when 80% of small businesses select their health plans. Rivals include Ignition Benefits and Nava Benefits.
