Dell (DELL), Snowflake (SNOW), Ford (F) Surge as AI Boom Rewards Proof Over Promise

An equal-weighted portfolio of Dell Technologies (DELL), Snowflake (SNOW), and Ford (F) surged 86% since March 30 as AI investors pivot from promise to proof. Dell led with a nearly 150% gain after booking $24.4 billion in AI server orders, ending the quarter with a $51.3 billion backlog, and raising its fiscal-year AI server revenue outlook to $60 billion. Snowflake’s revenue rose 33% to $1.39 billion with product revenue up 34%, affirming AI’s demand for enterprise data. Ford’s energy unit signed a deal with EDF for up to 20 gigawatt-hours of battery storage, which UBS valued at $720 million yearly. The pattern shows the AI trade broadening beyond model developers to the infrastructure layer.
