Mynt Sets GCash IPO at 6.60 Pesos, Valuing Philippine Fintech at $7 Billion

Mynt, the Philippine fintech operator of mobile wallet GCash, priced its initial public offering at 6.60 pesos per share on October 2, 2026, valuing the company at approximately $7 billion, according to The Wall Street Journal. The pricing implies a market capitalization of about 441.54 billion pesos based on roughly 66.90 billion post-IPO shares outstanding. The sale of 8.03 billion shares is expected to raise around 52.98 billion pesos, or $843.7 million; full exercise of an overallotment option for up to 1.20 billion shares would lift proceeds to roughly 60.9 billion pesos, or $969.8 million. The listing would rank among the largest in Philippine Stock Exchange history, comparable to Monde Nissin's $1 billion debut in 2021. Mynt plans to open subscription on October 6, targeting an October 20 listing, with cornerstone commitments from more than 20 investors including BlackRock and T. Rowe Price. Globe Telecom holds about 34% of Mynt.
