ABBA Stars Ulvaeus, Andersson Share £12M Dividend From Voyage Show
ABBA members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson shared a £12 million ($15.9 million) dividend in March from the band's virtual concert venture, even as revenues and profits declined. The payout from UK-based Aniara Limited to Swedish parent Goldonder came as the Voyage show surpassed four million visitors. Licensing fees surged to £29.9 million in 2025 from £5.9 million the prior year, benefiting the duo. Revenues fell to £89.2 million from £104.3 million, while profits dropped by a third to £5.5 million, after scheduled maintenance cut performances to 348 from 374. A UK tax credit exceeding £3 million offset the decline. Fellow members Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad hold no equity stake but collect royalties and licensing fees for their vocals and likenesses. The London show, launched in 2022, has extended its run through June 2027. Universal Music is also an investor.
