Neko Health Raises $700M Series C to Fund U.S. Expansion, Led by Lightspeed and O.G. Venture Partners
Neko Health, the health-tech startup co-founded by Spotify's Daniel Ek, said on September 28, 2026, that it closed a $700 million Series C round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and O.G. Venture Partners. The raise follows a $260 million Series B in January 2025, bringing total funding to $960 million in under two years. Media reports put the post-money valuation near $7 billion, a figure the company did not confirm. Neko operates eight clinics in Sweden and the UK, has completed more than 100,000 scans, and reports a combined waitlist and booked appointments of over 350,000. Its roughly one-hour, radiation-free scans cover skin imaging, cardiovascular, blood, metabolic and body-composition metrics, with data synced to Apple Health. Neko said about 80% of customers have prepaid for next year's exam. Investors include Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan, Maria Sharapova and will.i.am. The company plans to enter the U.S. market beginning in New York in 2026 and remains private, with no ticker.
