Puma Taps Maersk to Run North America Distribution Network Across 2.3M Square Feet
Puma signed an agreement with A.P. Moller-Maersk to manage its North America distribution network, the companies announced on Sept. 24, 2026, covering three AutoStore-equipped facilities in Torrance, California; Phoenix; and Whitestown, Indiana, totaling about 2.3 million square feet. Maersk already provides Puma with ocean shipping, fulfillment, air freight, customs and inland transportation services under a long-standing partnership. The carrier will gain access to spare network capacity for other customers. The Torrance site marks Maersk's first deployment of AutoStore technology across multiple client operations. From 2027, it will offer automated order fulfillment capacity to other brands near air and ocean gateways, handling roughly 20 million units annually. Maersk, which also handles fulfillment for Levi Strauss & Co., continues expanding beyond ocean shipping into end-to-end logistics.
