Stonelake Capital Closes $1B Industrial Real Estate Fund, Exceeding $900M Target
Stonelake Capital Partners closed its eighth real estate investment fund at $1 billion on September 30, 2026, surpassing its $900 million target and marking the Dallas-based firm's largest fund since its 2007 founding. The fund is 20 percent committed and will target industrial assets including warehouses, distribution centers and logistics properties across 13 markets. The raise is a 34 percent increase over the firm's seventh fund, which closed in 2023 with $746 million in equity commitments. Investors include college endowments, foundations, public pension funds and hospital systems. Over the past five years, Stonelake has raised $2.3 billion across three opportunity funds. The firm has spent $200 million over the past year acquiring 16 logistics properties totaling roughly 2.3 million square feet. Stonelake is also constructing a 17-story, 180,000-square-foot office tower at 2626 McKinney Avenue, expected for completion in early 2028.
