Renault Group (RENA.PA) announced on June 18, 2026, its full acquisition of Flexis, a company focused on next-generation electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and connected services. This strategic move aims to strengthen Renault's position in the evolving LCV market segment. Flexis was originally established in 2023 as a 50/50 joint venture with Volvo Group (VOLV-B.ST). The company is dedicated to developing new electric LCVs based on a software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform, in addition to providing connected services and data management solutions.
