SpaceXAI's Grok Bot Agent Reaches 418,000 Weekly Users a Month After Launch

SpaceXAI's Grok Bot AI agent reached 418,000 weekly users as of Sept. 14, roughly one month after its mid-August launch, according to a presentation shown at a London event. The figure rose 24% from the prior week, signaling modest early demand for a product central to Elon Musk's AI ambitions. Grok Bot is positioned as an enterprise tool—bundled with subscription tiers and sold as a standalone app—designed to handle tasks such as answering emails, updating sales databases and processing invoices. It differs from SpaceXAI's flagship Grok chatbot. Representatives for SpaceX declined to comment, and current weekly user figures were not available. The disclosure follows Meta Platforms' Muse, a free consumer app, topping Apple's App Store rankings. Bloomberg Intelligence said Muse has been downloaded four times more than Grok Bot. SpaceXAI has accelerated AI releases since its $60 billion acquisition of coding startup Cursor, including Grok 4.5 and this week's Grok 4.7.
