Wirestock raises $23 million to expand AI data supply business
Wirestock said on May 14, 2026, it raised $23 million in Series A funding to expand its business supplying multimodal creative datasets to AI labs. Nava Ventures led the round, with participation from SBVP, Formula VC and I2BF Ventures. The company, which previously helped photographers distribute work to stock-photo platforms, pivoted in 2023 to providing images, videos, design assets, gaming content and 3D data for AI model training. Wirestock said more than 700,000 artists and designers are registered on its platform, while contributors have received $15 million in payouts to date. CEO Mikayel Khachatryan said Wirestock serves six major foundation model makers, which he declined to name, and has an annual revenue run rate of $40 million. The round brings total capital raised to about $26 million. Wirestock, which employs 60 people, plans to hire in research, engineering and product roles and build enterprise software for AI labs to collaborate on datasets.
