Nutanix (NTNX) Q3 Profit Climbs on Strong Subscription Revenue
Nutanix Inc. (NTNX) reported a sharp increase in quarterly profit on May 27, 2026, driven by accelerating subscription revenue and cost controls. For the fiscal third quarter ended April 30, 2026, net income rose 28% to $112 million, or $0.38 per share, from $87.4 million, or $0.29 per share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed 17% to $586 million, surpassing analysts’ consensus estimate of $574 million. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) expanded 22% to $1.94 billion, reflecting robust demand for its hybrid multicloud platform. Subscription revenue now accounts for over 95% of total revenue, underscoring the transition to a software-centric model. The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $2.32–$2.35 billion, citing strong deal momentum and an expanding enterprise customer base. Operating margin improved to 14.5% from 11.2% a year ago, aided by disciplined spending.
