Nvidia CEO Huang Says Supply Still Constrained Despite 'Very Strong' AI Growth; N2X, N3X Chips in Development
Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) Chief Executive Jensen Huang said on June 2, 2026, that supply constraints remain a concern even as the company posts robust growth fueled by the artificial intelligence boom. Speaking at a Computex media event in Taipei, Huang acknowledged that while current supply levels are sufficient, further increases are needed to meet demand. The comments came a day after the $5 trillion chipmaker unveiled its new RTX Spark (N1X) super chip, designed to compete with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel in the Windows PC processor market. Huang described the N1X as part of a long-term platform architecture, with subsequent generations N2X and N3X already under development, along with a smaller N1 chip to broaden the product lineup. The series is intended as an integrated hardware and software computing platform. Nvidia is widely viewed as a barometer for AI market health, with its chips deployed in data centers globally.
