Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced four new AI business initiatives during a visit to Seoul on June 5, 2026, signaling a push into physical AI with South Korea as a key partner. Huang disclosed plans to bring the next-generation Vera Rubin AI accelerator platform, the Vera CPU, the RTX Spark AI laptop platform, and the Jetson Thor edge AI supercomputer for humanoid robots. He spoke after a dinner with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Naver founder Lee Hae-jin. Huang’s trip, his first to the country in eight months, marked a shift from supply-chain talks to robotics, autonomous vehicles and smart factories. He emphasized that South Korea’s manufacturing strength and industrial data make it ideal for physical AI—technology that lets machines perceive, decide and act in real-world environments. Nvidia also plans to open an AI technology center in South Korea and hire local researchers, competing against Google, Tesla and others to dominate the next AI frontier.
