Five Nvidia executives, including CEO Jensen Huang, had a combined 160,000 shares withheld by the company to cover tax obligations tied to restricted stock unit vesting, according to a Form 4 filing submitted to the SEC on Sept. 18. Huang forfeited 45,728 shares valued at about $9.7 million, based on a price of $212.17 per share. The shares were withheld by Nvidia rather than sold on the open market. CFO Colette Kress, COO Debora Shoquist, General Counsel Timothy Teter and Chief Accounting Officer Scott Gawel had 40,747, 35,088, 35,738 and 25,388 shares withheld, respectively, on Sept. 16. Unlike the other executives, Kress also sold 34,918 shares on the open market on Sept. 17 in three transactions under a Rule 10b5-1 plan adopted June 16, 2026, generating about $7.65 million. The filing also disclosed that the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Living Trust transferred 438,000 shares on Sept. 17, including 292,000 shares donated to the Huang Foundation. Nvidia closed up 1.34% at $222.27 on Sept. 18, giving it a market value of $5.36 trillion.
