Nvidia (NVDA) is set to report first-quarter earnings on May 20, 2026, with investors focused on AI chip demand and whether U.S.-China talks could clear the way for shipments of its H200 processors to China. Bloomberg consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.76 on revenue of $78.75 billion, up from $0.96 and $44.06 billion a year earlier. Data center revenue is expected to reach $72.85 billion, including $60.53 billion from computing and $12.45 billion from networking. Gaming revenue is forecast at $3.64 billion, down 3.26%. Nvidia shares were up more than 21% year to date as of May 13, 2026, and 74% over 12 months, lifting its market value to $5.5 trillion. CEO Jensen Huang said April 30 that Nvidia’s China market share had fallen to zero. Competition is rising from AMD, Amazon and Google, which are expanding AI chip offerings to third-party customers.
