NVIDIA (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang Confirms Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron (MU) Certified for HBM4 Supply
NVIDIA (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang said on June 5, 2026, that the company has certified all three major memory chipmakers—Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron Technology (MU)—to supply next-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips for its AI accelerators. Speaking to media in Seoul, Huang confirmed the three suppliers are now competing to support Vera Rubin, NVIDIA’s newest AI chip platform. The certification enables mass production of HBM4 memory, which is critical for AI computing. The three companies collectively dominate the global memory semiconductor market for computing, and the move intensifies their race to capture a share of the lucrative AI hardware business. Huang’s visit includes a dinner with South Korean supply chain executives and a baseball game over the weekend.
