Nvidia's Huang Urges Taiwan Supply Chain to Prepare for 'Much Larger' Second-Half 2027
Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang concluded his Taiwan visit on June 5, 2026, pressing the company's roughly 120 local supply chain partners to ready for a sharp production ramp in the second half of 2027. He said the scale will "be much bigger than this year," as AI demand continues to surge. The chipmaker has already doubled its supply for the second half of 2026, Huang noted, with flagship Grace Blackwell systems in high-volume production. Mass output of next-generation Vera Rubin platforms has also begun, adding to what he described as an extremely busy period ahead. Taiwan's supply chain is critical to Nvidia's AI server manufacturing. Huang separately cited Taiwan's 14% first-quarter GDP growth, expressing satisfaction with the region's economic performance and partner contributions.
