NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) will reveal its long-awaited Arm-based PC platform, the N1/N1X, at Computex in Taipei on June 2, 2026, in partnership with Microsoft and Arm, marking a direct push into the AI-native personal computing market. The move signals a shift of AI workloads from cloud-only GPU clusters to local edge devices, according to analysts. The N1X chip, built on TSMC’s (TSM) 3-nanometer process, combines a Blackwell-architecture GPU with a 20-core Arm CPU and supports up to 128GB of unified memory. It aims to resolve key trade-offs in current AI PCs between battery life, on-device inference capability, and large language model performance, enabling low-latency agents and multimodal applications locally. The launch is expected to trigger a new investment cycle around “local intelligent agent computing terminals,” potentially eroding the decades-long dominance of x86 processors from Intel (INTC) and AMD (AMD) in the PC market, analysts said.
