Nvidia (NVDA) posted a cryptic social media message on May 29, 2026, hinting at a new chip for Windows personal computers, fueling speculation ahead of CEO Jensen Huang’s GTC Taipei keynote on June 1. The post — reading “PC New Era” with venue coordinates — was simultaneously shared by Microsoft (MSFT) and Arm (ARM). The event takes place at the Taipei Music Center alongside Computex, with Huang scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. local time. The move signals Nvidia’s potential expansion beyond its DGX Spark desktop AI workstation to more affordable PC processors, challenging Intel (INTC) and AMD (AMD). It follows Microsoft and Qualcomm’s (QCOM) push to replicate Apple’s (AAPL) M-series success with Arm-based Snapdragon X chips in Windows laptops. Nvidia declined immediate comment.
