Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. (TSX-V: OML) said on May 27, 2026, that first-quarter net income jumped 50% as demand for its precision components strengthened in commercial aerospace markets. Net income for the period ended March 31, 2026, rose to $1.2 million, or $0.10 per share, from $0.8 million, or $0.07 per share, a year earlier. Revenue increased 15% to $8.5 million, driven by higher shipments to key aerospace customers and a 20% rise in defense-related orders. Gross profit grew to $2.38 million, lifting the gross margin to 28% from 26%, reflecting improved utilization of manufacturing capacity. Operating income expanded to $1.4 million, compared with $1.0 million in the 2025 quarter. The company maintained a strong balance sheet with cash of $3.2 million and no long-term debt. Management attributed the performance to a recovery in global air travel and growing defense budgets, which are expected to sustain order volumes through the remainder of 2026.
