Onterris (NYSE:ONT) led the declines, its stock tumbling 20.5% after reporting revenue of $168.5 million, a 5.2% year-over-year drop that missed forecasts by 6.2%. The company’s earnings per share exceeded estimates, but the revenue shortfall weighed on sentiment. Among peers, Waste Connections (WCN) reported $2.37 billion in revenue, up 6.4%, beating estimates, yet its shares slipped 1.6%. Perma-Fix (PESI) saw a 20.1% revenue decline, missing projections by 14.4%, and its stock fell 20.8%. Waste Management (WM) posted $6.23 billion, up 3.5%, but lagged estimates, and shares dipped 3.6%. The group’s average share price has declined 2.2% since the results, underperforming broader markets.
