Oracle (ORCL) shares jumped 6.67% on Thursday, May 28, 2026, closing at $203.70 and easily outperforming other technology giants amid broad market gains. The advance left the stock still trading 41.08% below its 52-week high of $345.72, set on Sept. 10, 2025. The rally surpassed Microsoft (MSFT), which rose 3.47% to $426.99, and Alphabet’s Class A (GOOGL) and Class C (GOOG) shares, which added 0.34% and 0.33%, respectively. The S&P 500 gained 0.58% to 7,563.63, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.05% to 50,668.97. Trading volume for Oracle was 24.2 million shares, slightly below the 50-day average of 25.1 million.
