Provident Financial Services (PFS) announced Adriano Duarte will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Duarte, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Provident Bank, succeeds Thomas Lyons, who will retire June 30, 2026, after serving as CFO since 2004. Lyons will remain with the company as a consultant until March 31, 2027, to ensure a smooth transition. Duarte joined Provident Bank in 2004, progressing through various financial leadership positions, including Controller and First Senior Vice President, before becoming Chief Accounting Officer.
