Phathom Pharma Completes Phase 2 EoE Trial Enrollment (PHAT)

Phathom Pharmaceuticals (PHAT) announced on June 23, 2026, it has completed enrollment for its Phase 2 PHalcon-EoE-201 clinical trial, evaluating vonoprazan for eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). This milestone positions the company for an anticipated data readout in the second half of 2026. The trial is assessing the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan, a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), in patients with active EoE, a chronic inflammatory disease of the esophagus. Successful results could expand vonoprazan's market potential beyond its current U.S. approvals for healing and maintenance of erosive esophagitis and treating Helicobacter pylori infection.
