Q32 Bio's Bempikibart Shows Hair Regrowth in Phase 2a Alopecia Areata Trial; QTTB Up 0.21%

Q32 Bio (QTTB) reported additional Phase 2a SIGNAL-AA trial results for bempikibart in severe or very severe alopecia areata, presented at the EADV Congress 2026 on Sept. 30, 2026. The anti-IL-7Ra antibody achieved a mean 35.3% reduction in SALT score at Week 36. In the 33-patient modified intent-to-treat group, 40% achieved SALT-20 and 44% achieved SALT-30 and SALT-50 responses. Among 18 patients followed during the 16-week off-drug period, 44% achieved SALT-20, 61% SALT-30 and 50% SALT-50 at Week 52. Bempikibart was generally well tolerated, with no new safety signals or treatment-related serious adverse events. Q32 Bio plans a registration-directed program in the first half of 2027. QTTB traded at $9.57, up 0.21%.
