Rivian Q3 Deliveries Hit 19,248, Up 46% Year-Over-Year, Beating Estimates
Rivian Automotive (RIVN) reported third-quarter 2026 deliveries of 19,248 vehicles on Friday, a 46% increase from 13,201 units a year earlier and above the 18,000 consensus estimate cited by CNBC from FactSet. The electric vehicle maker produced 19,751 vehicles at its Normal, Illinois, plant during the quarter. Deliveries have risen sequentially all year, from 10,365 in Q1 to 12,194 in Q2. Rivian reaffirmed full-year 2026 guidance of 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles. Hitting the low end of that range requires at least 23,193 fourth-quarter deliveries, a sequential jump of 20.5% or more. The gain reflects Rivian's push to scale R2 output; only the pricier Performance trim is currently available. Rivian will report complete third-quarter financials after markets close on October 29, 2026, with an investor webcast at 5:00 p.m. ET.
