RTX's Pratt & Whitney Canada Signs 4-Year PW127M Engine Maintenance Deal With AirBorneo

RTX Corp. (RTX) said its Pratt & Whitney Canada unit signed a four-year maintenance, repair and overhaul agreement with AirBorneo Airways covering PW127M engines through 2030. The company announced the deal on Sept. 24, 2026. The contract extends Pratt & Whitney Canada's regional turboprop engine support into the airline's fleet, though financial terms were not disclosed. The agreement adds to RTX's aftermarket services backlog, a segment the aerospace and defense manufacturer has emphasized as a source of recurring revenue.
