Rolls-Royce to Invest £300 Million in UK Manufacturing and Engineering Facilities

Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RYCEY.PK, RR.L) announced Monday a £300 million investment in its UK manufacturing and engineering facilities, aimed at meeting manufacturing demand and supporting future aerospace programs and sovereign defense capabilities. The bulk of the investment includes over £140 million for new engineering and manufacturing services facilities in Derby, home to the company's Civil Aerospace operations, with completion expected by 2028. An additional £90 million-plus will fund a facility upgrade in Bristol targeting operational delivery, digital security, and customer output, scheduled for completion in 2031. The company said the investment strengthens UK industrial aerospace capacity. Rolls-Royce has been upgrading plants and infrastructure and funding research and development projects across the country.
