U.S. stocks closed at record highs on Monday, June 1, 2026, with the Nasdaq Composite surging 1.8% to finish above 27,000 for the first time. The S&P 500 rose 1.2% and the Dow added 0.6%, as semiconductor shares powered the rally. Nvidia gained 6.2%, adding $319 billion in market value in a single session.
